About the Foundation
MISSION:
To develop and implement strategies and recommend processes to advance and expand the commercial and industrial insulation industry
NIA Is Expanding Its Focus
The National Insulation Association has been traditionally a member-focused organization in that its role has been and still is to provide goods and services to its members. Through a new committee - its Foundation for Education, Training and Industry Advancement Program Committee, formerly known as the Growing the Insulation Industry Program -NIA will promote the benefits of commercial and industrial insulation to outside audiences such as specifiers, architects, energy managers, plant operators, building owners, facility managers, government agencies and others. The goals to establish NIA as the recognized authority on the insulation industry and, at the same time, increase awareness for the need and benefits of insulation.
Putting The Power Of Insulation To Work
Under the umbrella theme of "Putting the Power of Insulation To Work," one of the first projects is a comprehensive marketing communications program designed to do the following:
- Re-introduce NIA to the commercial and industrial construction community.
- Promote the value of insulation to key buying and specifying audiences.
- Establish NIA as a recognized voice of the commercial and industrial insulation industry.
Growth Comes From Awareness
With an increased awareness of the industry, each NIA member has a greater opportunity for business growth. "Putting the Power of Insulation To Work" begins by carefully implementing a number of promotional mechanisms including case studies, expert articles, trade shows, industry presentations, association networking and advertising over the next three years. These programs will be managed within the NIA organizational framework and directed by the Foundation for Education, Training and Industry Advancement Program ("Foundation") Committee.
