NIA Member Orientation
Get the most out of your NIA membership by attending this special session for new and current NIA members! A brief presentation about NIA’s activities and how you can get involved is followed by valuable networking with other NIA members, the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and staff. Bring your spouse and enjoy light refreshments while learning more about what NIA can do for you.

Convention First-Timer & VIP Reception
Will this be your first time attending an NIA Convention? If so, don’t miss this invitation-only event. During this hosted cocktail reception, you will be able to network with NIA leaders and staff and learn more about what you can expect to gain from NIA’s Convention. You can also ask any questions about Convention, committees, or programs offered by NIA. Be sure to check the “First Convention” box when registering so you’ll be sure to get your special invitation.

Welcome Reception: American Culinary Delights
Now that you’ve arrived at Convention, let us take you on a regional culinary journey to the Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, and Southwest. Take time to enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, golf course, and interconnecting pools under that unmistakable Southwestern sky. The soothing guitar sounds of Con Brio Duo provide the perfect musical background to engage with old and new friends alike.

Hosted Dessert Hospitality Suites
We hope you saved room for dessert, because immediately following the Welcome Reception is one of the highlights of NIA’s Convention – the Dessert Hospitality Suites! Your NIA member company hosts have filled each room with delicious treats and beverages to round off your evening the right way. Don’t miss this chance to relax and network with industry friends at one of the most indulgent events of the week.

Appreciation Night: Biker Bash
Get ready for a wild ride as Appreciation Night escapes to the desert for this Biker Bash. Hit the open road to La Puesta del Sol, a remote location approximately 25 minutes from the resort (NIA will provide round-trip bus transportation for attendees). This venue provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and will allow you to kick back under the Arizona night sky. After dinner, the tunes of the J. Powers Band, who will play a mix of blues, R&B, Soul, Motown, and Classic Rock, will make you want to dance the night away.

President’s Gala Dinner and Dance
The President’s Gala Dinner and Dance wraps up the NIA Convention in style as we gather one last time to close out another exciting Convention. This evening begins with a cocktail reception, followed by a luxurious meal and dancing. Semi-formal attire (suits for men and cocktail dresses for women) is encouraged. Join your fellow NIA Members in honoring outgoing president Alec Rexroat for his year of service and dedication to our association and industry. Then enjoy the rest of the evening as you say farewell to Scottsdale and network with friends one more time before heading home.
