Air Travel and Passport Information

Nassau International Airport is serviced by 19 airlines, including 11 that travel to the United States, two that travel to Canada, and two that travel to Europe. Many airlines provide nonstop flights from various places in the United States.

While the requirements for entry to the Bahamas vary depending on the country of departure, a valid passport is always required. If you possess a passport, be sure it is valid through May 2008. If renewal or attainment of a passport is necessary, the application process should be started immediately, as it generally takes 10 to 12 weeks and delays should be expected.
