Convention 2003
Keynote Speaker
John Cassis
Thursday, April 3, 8:15-10:00am
NIA is pleased to present one of the most requested speakers in America at this year’s annual convention in Savannah. For more than 20 years, John Cassis has been fascinating audiences with his highly charged presentations based on real life experiences. His diverse background includes three years as a minor league baseball player with the California Angels, 12 years as the pre-game speaker for the Chicago Bears, two years as director of a youth counseling center, and five years as a minister in Colorado, where he increased the size of the congregation from 80 to 2,000 people. His ability to connect with an audience is exceptional and his humorous, yet inspirational, presentations encourage people to face adversity, embrace change, and meet the daily pressures of modern life head-on.
In Savannah, John Cassis will aid you in learning positive approaches to coping with life’s pressures -- in relationships at work and home -- through Humor, Motivation, and Mental Toughness. In this presentation, you’ll discover how to tap into humor that "helps bridge the gap between the perfections we strive for, and the imperfections we are stuck with!"
