General Session
Mold Remediation – Panel Presentation
During a general session presentation, NIA will assemble a panel discussion on mold remediation to discuss the impact that the mold issue is having on each of our industry segments. Experts from the manufacturing sector, contractor sector, the science field and legal field will be on hand to share their knowledge.
Presentation of Technical Papers
Once again, the Technical Information Committee is coordinating the technical paper presentations. These papers go through a review and approval process by the committee and will be submitted to NIA’s annual convention for presentation. It is the goal of the authors to provide the most current and accurate information on the topics that are presented to better inform and educate the industry. The text of the presentations will be available to the session attendees. Many of the papers being considered will focus on the mold and mildew issues facing our industry today.
Concurrent Sessions
NITP – Who Should Go? Exactly What is Taught?
Not sure who from your company to send to this class? Come and see the real deal for yourself! More than 160 students have already taken this course and now you can get the student perspective by attending an overview of the program. This presentation is back from last year’s convention by popular demand. The room set-up and class materials are presented as they are in an actual class. You’ll see, touch, and hear exactly what each student is taught and in the exact manner in which they are taught. If you’ve been wondering whether to send someone from your company or just don’t know who to send, you’ll discover the answer all those questions at the conclusion of this session.
Insulation: The Lost or Forgotten Technology – This presentation is for you…literally.
NIA has created a canned presentation WITH speaker notes that reviews the benefits of insulation. With this presentation you can go anywhere and put on a professional powerpoint presentation. NIA uses this presentation with its Speakers Bureau Presenters. We will show you just how easy this presentation is to give and how it can best be utilized. Come and learn what it takes to be a part of NIA’s Speakers Bureau or just come to see the presentation. Any NIA member can use it (and it is flexible enough to be tailored to any specific group.) Be a part of representing your industry.
A NEW Maintenance Training Program – Creating It and Designing It
The Foundation for Education, Training and Industry Advancement is on the move again to develop another training course. This time, the course will cover maintenance and we want your input before getting started. This session is devoted to listening and discussing your ideas on what should be communicated in this new training class. This is your chance to have a course developed with all of your input.
