November temperatures for the Washington, D.C., area are typically in the mid-60s during the day, dropping to the mid-50s at night. Weather conditions vary, so check the weather report before you leave. Remember, meeting rooms can sometimes be cool, so layering or a jacket is encouraged.
The L’Enfant Plaza Hotel is in Washington, D.C., near the National Mall, Smithsonian museums, U.S. Capitol, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel has direct access to D.C.’s Metro system on the Yellow Line L’Enfant Plaza stop.
Casual attire is recommended for all committee meetings and the luncheon. For Tuesday evening’s reception (November 2, 2010, 5:00-6:00 p.m.), we suggest a jacket but, please, no ties.
