November 5–6, 2008
Westin Alexandria
Alexandria, Virginia
Helpful Hints
November temperatures for the Washington, D.C., area are typically in the mid-60s during the day, dropping to the mid-50s at night. Weather conditions vary, so check the weather report before you leave. Remember, meeting rooms can sometimes be cool, so layering or a jacket is encouraged.
Old Town Alexandria is nationally recognized for its 18th and 19th century style architecture, award-winning dining, and eclectic shopping. Tour the George Washington Masonic Temple honoring our country’s first president or take King Street Trolley to the Torpedo Factory on the Potomac River front to explore local artisans and exceptional dining. If you choose to stay at the hotel for meals, the Westin offers two restaurant choices and 24 hour in-room dining.
Casual attire is recommended for all committee meetings and the luncheon. For Wednesday evening’s reception (November 5, 2008, 5:30-6:30 p.m.), we suggest a jacket but, please, no ties.
