Weather and Attire

November temperatures for the Washington, D.C., area are typically in the mid-60s during the day, dropping to the mid-50s at night. Weather conditions vary, so it is best to check the weather report for the area before you leave.

There are numerous options for dining near the hotel. L’Enfant Plaza also offers three outstanding dining choices, as well as in-room dining. Centrally located, the L’Enfant Plaza Hotel is within walking distance to the Smithsonian Castle and only steps from the Air and Space Museum, the World War II Memorial, and the Washington Mall. We recommend a light jacket for the evening.

Casual attire is recommended for all committee meetings and the luncheon. For Wednesday evening’s reception (November 7, 2007, 5:30-6:30 p.m.), we suggest a jacket but, please, no ties.
