RBX Industries, Inc. Recommended for ISO 9001:2000 Certification
RBX Industries, Inc. has announced that their bun manufacturing location in Bedford, Virginia has been recommended for ISO 9001:2000 certification. Upon receipt of the Bedford facility's certification, all RBX locations will be quality registered.
Tim Bernlohr, RBX's COO comments "Bedford's recommendation is a testament to RBX Industries' commitment to quality product through continuous improvement. Bedford has been manufacturing SBR, Neoprene, Neoprene blends, EPDM, ECH, EPT, and PVC/NBR for years. RBX has dedicated itself, through the years, to make improvements. This is just one more step in that process to ensure the Rubatex® brand remains the market leader". Bernlohr goes on to say, "This recommendation for ISO certification is also a great reflection on the RBX employees in Bedford."
RBX's Corporate facility in Roanoke, as well as its manufacturing facility in Conover, North Carolina, is TS 16949 certified. RBX's facility in Colt, Arkansas, its custom mixing business (Hoover Hanes) in Tallapoosa, Georgia, and its silicon manufacturing facility (Groendyk®) in Buchanan, Virginia are all QS 9000 certified. The South Holland location which manufactures the Oletex® brand of polyolefin foams is ISO 9002 certified as well.
RBX Industries, Inc. manufactures and distributes closed cell foam and molded products in rubber and PE for automotive, athletic, consumer, and industrial applications. Doug Parnell, Vice President of Sales for RBX states, "Quality is a differentiator for RBX products. The Rubatex®, Oletex®, Ensolite®, Groendyk® silicon, and Hoover Hanes brand names have always been synonymous with high quality. As the market leader, we will continue to maintain and improve on this difference."
