Committee Information

As manufacturers of products and services, the Associates Committee strengthens and expands the insulation industry through education, technical assistance, and association membership growth.

The Convention Committee works with the NIA staff to develop and coordinate educational programs and entertainment for the NIA convention.

The Distributor/Fabricator Committee promotes the value of the distributor/fabricator to the mechanical insulation industry, and helps grow the industry and provide ongoing education and training to NIA’s distributor/fabricator members.

The NIA is committed to the health, safety, and welfare of its members, customers, and other members of the insulation industry. Through professional safety leadership, the Health and Safety Committee actively promotes the highest standards of safety and health excellence to ensure a safe working environment.

The Merit Contractor Committee promotes the growth of the industrial and commercial merit contractor through education, training, and network exchange.

The Laminator Committee is composed of laminators of metal building insulation who are dedicated to developing and promoting industry standards and educational programs that will help members become more professional, productive, and profitable.

The Technical Information Committee serves as a forum for identifying and addressing technical issues confronting NIA members.

The Union Contractor Committee promotes the growth of industrial and commercial union contractors through education, training, productivity enhancement, and strong union relations.

The Website Committee oversees, promotes, and guides NIA’s website, which conveys time-sensitive and educational industrial and commercial insulation industry information to NIA members and the general public.
