Poipu Bay Golf Course

The Poipu Bay Golf Course combines the natural beauty of the island of Kauai with innovative design for a unique golf experience. Situated on 210 acres of oceanfront property and bordered by mountains and tropical plants, the 18-hole, par 72 course was named one of the “Top 18 in the Nation” by Golf Digest and has played host to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.

Tournament Format

An 18-hole scramble golf tournament is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start on Friday, April 3. Special attention will be given to pairings to accommodate foursome preferences. To request a foursome or to sponsor players from other companies, please e-mail events@insulation.org.

All players must be registered for the Convention and the golf tournament. Pre-registration is required for the golf tournament, and a registration fee of $240 will apply. This registration rate includes all tournament costs, a boxed lunch, a bottle of water, a course towel and a score card.

Golf Shirts

Cutter and Buck golf shirts in Key Lime featuring the NIA and Poipu Bay Golf Course logos will be available for $60 plus shipping and handling. Shirt orders will be delivered by mail in advance of the convention. All orders must be received no later than February 6, 2009.

Golf Club Rentals

Golf club rentals are available through the course for $60 and must be pre-reserved and prepaid to NIA.
